THE MAZHILIS APPROVED THE LAW IN DRAFT IN THE AREA OF KAZAKHSTANI-FRENCH SPACE COOPERATION                  

Astana, April 08, the House of the Mazhilis. Today there has been a plenary meeting of the deputies chaired by Kabibulla Dzhakupov.

The House approved the law in draft regarding the ratification of the Minutes with amendments in Kazakhstani-French inter-governmental Agreement on establishment and employment terms for remotely sensed space system of the Earth and assembling-test complex for space crafts dated October 06, 2009.

 The purpose of the Minutes, in particular, is release from value added tax payment for the goods supply and also for the works performance and services rendering according to the agreements, - noted in the co-report a member of the Mazhilis Committee on international affairs, security and defence Turarbek Assanov.

There are two large space projects today under the Agreement: creation of the remotely sensed space system of the Kazakhstan’s earth and establishment of the assembling-test complex of space crafts in Astana city.

Amendments of the Senate never change the conceptual provisions of the law in draft on issues of insurance and Islamic financing. A deputy of the Mazhilis, the group head Nurtay Sabilyanov reported about it to the House.

The Mazhilis agreed with the innovations provided. The Senate made amendments in the Tax Code in the part of the tax rate reduction for property in relation to dwelling leased by individuals within the frames of the Regions Development Program implementation until the year of 2020. A row of current legislative acts has undergone changes. These amendments are subject to accurate parameters definition of the republican budget for the year 2015.

Today the Mazhilis took the deputies’ law in draft to production. The act prepared by the deputies of the Mazhilis S. Kanayev, N. Logutov, V. Rogalyev, Yu.Timoschenko and A. Toybayev provides the amendments in the legislation on the pricing issues in construction, performance of architectural-construction supervision as well as commissioning of the facilities.  

And also today the Mazhilis took into work the laws in draft on ratification of agreements on cooperation in the sphere of prevention and liquidation of extraordinary events in the Caspian Sea and establishment of a space rocket complex “Bayterek” on the cosmodrome “Baikonur” by Kazakhstan and Russia.
