KABIBULLA DZHAKUPOV RECEIVED THE US AMBASSADOR IN KAZAKHSTAN

Astana, May 4, the House Mazhilis. The Chairman of the Mazhilis Kabibulla Dzhakupov received The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the United States of America in Kazakhstan George Krol.

 By congratulating the diplomat on his appointment, the Speaker of the Mazhilis expressed his confidence that his activity will promote further strengthening of political dialogue and mutual understanding between the two countries.

Particular attention was paid to the presidential election in Kazakhstan.

Noting the unprecedented high attendance of voters and the highest support level of the people of Kazakhstan for Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kabibulla Dzhakupov stressed that the people of Kazakhstan voted for the policy continuation of the President of the country, for peace and stability.

George Krol, in turn, congratulated Kazakhstan citizens on the successful holding of elections of the President, the results of which, according to the diplomat, have clearly reflected the will and intention of the people of the country.

According to the American Ambassador, Kazakhstan today has achieved impressive results, and the plans of the President of Kazakhstan on the further development of the country are discovering great prospects for our country.

5 institutional reforms initiated by the Leader of the Nation are of particular importance for the future of Kazakhstan, according to the interlocutors. According to the Chairman of the Mazhilis, the established national commission on modernization will contribute to their phase effective implementation.

Kabibulla Dzhakupov and Krol also noted the strategic nature of the Kazakh-American relations, expressing confidence that the countries are of great potential in trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, technology and innovation, as well as in the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation.

The Mazhilis Speaker informed the American diplomat about the most important programs implemented in Kazakhstan - the Strategy “Kazakhstan-2050” and “Nurly Zhol”.

The two parties were unanimous that all reforms in Kazakhstan aimed at the growth of prosperity and stability in the country.
