TurkPA: PARLIAMENTARIANS VISIT THE LIBRIARY OF THE FIRST PRESIDENT

Astana, December 3, the House of the Mazhilis. Today the delegations from countries of the TurkPA visited the Library of the First President of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation.

The parliamentarians visited the exhibitions timed to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and expositions devoted to the initiatives of the Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Particular interest was given to the interactive educational center “Ideas changing the World”, which uses the latest information technology and contain unique materials about creative ideas and conceptual designs of the Leader of the Nation, the successes and achievements of the Independent Kazakhstan.

The participants also got acquainted with the thematic book collections and personal library of President N.A.Nazarbayev.

The deputy delegations arrived in Astana to participate in the VI plenary session of TurkPA.

The Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries was established on November 21, 2008 on the initiative of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The TurkPA includes Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.

Today, Kazakhstan has accepted from Azerbaijan the chairmanship at the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries. The ceremony of the chairmanship transfer was on December 3 at the meeting of TurkPA at the Palace of Independence in Astana.
