Nurlan Nigmatulin met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Lubomir Zaoralek


Astana, November 21, the House of Mazhilis. Today, Nurlan Nigmatulin, the Chairman of the Mazhilis, conducted the meeting with the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Lubomir Zaoralek.

Having welcomed the diplomat, the Speaker of the Mazhilis noted that the Minister’s visit is on the eve of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence.

- We consider your visit as an evidence of interest of the Czech Republic in maintaining high level of bilateral relations, which has been reached over the last years, - Nurlan Nigmatulin stated.

During the meeting, it was pointed out that mutual visits of the heads of the both states became the example of settled intention to give an additional incentive for bilateral cooperation. And as it has been noted during the conversation, this meeting is the practical implementation of the agreements between the presidents of two countries.

The parties expressed their mutual interest in further development of good and strong relations established over the 23 years of diplomatic relations. As it has been noted during the meeting, today such areas as agriculture, mechanic engineering, energy, pharmacy and tourism are very promising. And the efforts of the both countries facilitate new joint activities.

As of the growth points, N.Nigmatulin expressed his confidence that active participation of the Czech party in the exhibition EXPO-2017 will provide good opportunity for the Czech Republic to share its achievements in the field of innovations in “green technologies”.

In turn, the Czech Minister also spoke in favour of extending of trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian, international cooperation. And as it has been noted at the meeting, the initiative of the President Nursultan Nazarbayev on establishment of the unified global network to counter international terrorism and extremism under the auspices of the UN is very relevant. 

It has been pointed out during the conversation, that parliamentary component has great importance in all these issues. In this connection, the Chairman of the Mazhilis and the Minister expressed mutual interest in exchange of experience in legislative activity and interaction on the relevant issues of the international agenda.        

For further activation of interparliamentary relations, the Chairman of the Mazhilis Nurlan Nigmatulin invited the Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic Yan Gamachek to visit Kazakhstan.
