Astana, November 24, the House of Mazhilis. Chairman of the Mazhilis Nurlan Nigmatulin will participate in the opening of Alikhan Bukeikhanov’s bust in Saint-Petersburg.

The solemn ceremony will be held in the Tauride Palace – headquarters of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS, where the events of IPA CIS and Parliamentary Assembly of CSTO will be held on November 24-25.

During the autumn session, parliamentarians will exchange their opinions on the relevant issues within the meetings of the permanent commissions of the IPA of the CIS.

Delegation of the Mazhilis MPs headed by the Chairman of the Chamber N.Nigmatulin will also participate in the forty-fifth plenary session of the IPA of the CIS, the agenda of which includes the large block of social model laws. These laws are: “On inclusive education”, “On insurance medicine”, “On social and cultural activities”.

Parliamentarians will draw special attention to security issues in such model laws as “On road safety”, “On emergency rescue service and the status of rescuers”. In addition, recommendations on harmonization of the national legislation of the CIS member countries on the issues of classifying organizations as terrorist and extremist groups will be considered.

The program of the visit includes the speech of Nurlan Nigmatulin at the meeting of the CSTO PA Council, as well as several bilateral meetings with the colleagues from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
