BOZHKO Vladimir Karpovich
Deputy Chairman of Mazhilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan
General Lieutenant Vladimir Karpovich Bozhko was born on 16 May 1949 in Almaty.

In 1971 graduated from the V. I. Lenin Kazakh Polytechnic Institute, in 1976 the Higher Courses of the KGB of the USSR.

Specialty – “Electrification and automation of mining works”; “Operational staff”.

From 1971 to 1973, served in the armed forces of the USSR.

From 1973 to 1975, plumber, engineer, senior worker of the Almaty Electro-technical plant.

From 1975 to 1976, attended the higher courses of the KGB of the USSR in Minsk.

From 1976 to 1989, detective officer, senior detective officer, head of a division of the 2nd Department, inspector of the Inspection of the KGB of the Kazakh SSR, head of a division of the 3rd Department of the KGB of the Kazakh SSR.

From 1989 to 1991, Deputy head of the Department of the KGB of Tselinograd oblast.

From 1991 to 1993, Head of Department of the KGB / Committee of the National Security of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kokshetau oblast.

From 1993 to 1994, Head of the Department of the Committee of the National Security in East Kazakhstan oblast.

From 1994 to 1997, head of the Main Department of Economic Security, Countering Corruption, Trafficking and Organized Crime of the Committee of the National Security of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 1997 to 1999, First Deputy head, head of the 2nd Department of the Committee of the National Security of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 1999 to 2001, Vice-president of a mining company and director of its representation in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2001 to 2007, First Deputy Chairperson of the Committee of the National Security of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2007 to 2014, Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 6 August 2014 to 25 March 2016, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan

During the Parliamentary Election of 2016, elected as Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He took the position of the Deputy Chairperson of the Mazhilis.

For special merits, awarded the orders “Barys” of the I degree, “Aibyn” of the II degree, 43 medals of the USSR, of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other countries.

PhD in legal sciences, docent. Published a monograph, 14 educational-methodical and practical manuals, 33 articles.
