KUSSAINOV Marat Apsemetovich
Chairman of the Committee on Finance and Budget of Mazhilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Born on January 27, 1965 in Turkestan, South Kazakhstan region.
Graduated from the Almaty Institute of National Economy, National Higher School of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Lomonosov Moscow State University.
PhD in Economics.
After graduation he worked as an instructor of the Department of complex social development of the city, Executive committee of Kyzylorda city.
1988-1996 – Senior Economist of the Planning Commission, Head of the Economy Department of the Kyzylorda City Administration, Head of the Economy Department of the Akim's Office of Kyzylorda.
1997 – Consultant of the Department for control over renewable strategic resources of the Agency for control over strategic resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
1997-2000 – Consultant of the Department of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2000 – Deputy Director of the Department of Strategic Planning and Control of the Agency for Strategic Planning of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2000-2001 – Director of the Department of Socio-Economic Analysis of the Agency for Strategic Planning of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2002 – Deputy Director of the State Budget Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2002-2003 – Director of the Department of Strategic Planning and Investment Policy of the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2003-2006 – Director of the Department of Regional Policy and Interbudgetary Relations of the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2006-2010 – Vice Minister of Economy and Budget Planning of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2017-2019 – Member of the Board (Minister) for Competition and Antimonopoly Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
2019-2021 – Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Development Bank.
Since January 2021 – Member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the seventh convocation, elected according to the party list of the «AMANAT» party.
Awarded the orders «Qurmet», «Parasat» and various jubilee medals.
Has letters of gratitude from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
