Astana, April 5, the House of the Mazhilis. A Bureau meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Speaker of the Mazhilis Yerlan Koshanov, at which a draft agenda for the upcoming plenary session was formed.

In the first reading, the Chamber is invited to consider draft laws with amendments to the Law "On Road Traffic" and the Code of Administrative Offenses on the organization of movement of certain types of vehicles and digitalization of road safety.

The amendments initiated by the deputies of the Parliament address the issues of monitoring the movement of small electric and certain types of vehicles and digitalization of road safety. The state registration of mopeds with an engine capacity of less than 50 cubic meters is provided.see, and also establish requirements for their drivers. Local executive bodies are given the competence to determine the procedure for the operation of electric scooters. As part of the digitalization of road safety, the practice of using certified special control and measuring equipment and devices is expanding.

A draft law on the ratification of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz intergovernmental Agreement on the establishment and regulation of the industrial trade and logistics complex in the area of the Ak-Tilek and Karasu road checkpoints is also being submitted for discussion by deputies. Its adoption will contribute to the overall improvement of trade and economic relations between the countries.

The draft agenda of the plenary session also contains new bills submitted to the Mazhilis "On Endowment Funds" and "On ratification of the Agreement on the Exchange of Biological Material".
