N.Nigmatulin: priorities defined by the President are the main milestones in the work of the deputies

Astana, June 30, Mazhilis house. At the joint meeting of the chambers of the Parliament, Chairman of Mazhilis Nurlan Nigmatulin noted that priorities, proclaimed by the President of Kazakhstan at the first opening session of the present convocation, as well as in his State of the Nation Address “Kazakhstan in a new global reality: growth, reforms, development”, have become the main milestones in the legislative process of the deputy corps.

Mr. Nigmatulin noted the law “On payments and payment systems” among the approved laws, as well as ratification of several international agreements, providing priorities of the external policy of the country and  aimed at strengthening of cooperation with foreign countries and international organizations in financial area, regulation of some aspects of activities within CIS countries and Eurasian space.

In addition, according to the Speaker of Mazhilis, the attention of parliamentarians was focused on the issues of implementing “Nurlyzhol” state program, State program of healthcare development, agricultural sector development, establishment of the local police service, institute of the private court enforcement etc.
